Large porcelain apothecary/pharmacy canister with black type/label: Gom. Tacamahaca (gum of balsam poplar). This may have been a rare/custom vessel as we cannot find any comparable examples. It was purchased from an antique store liquidation, with no additional information. Some wear/residue along rim, which is visible when top is removed. Such a cool piece!
