Silver-plated tea set, complete with teapot, creamer and sugar. Pretty engraved detail on face (both sides) and black Bakelite (or similar) handles. We believe these are reproductions based on Christian Fjerdingstad’s designs for French luxury brand, Christofle. Fjerdingstad designed these to be used on an ocean liner, Normandie, in the 1940’s. The design became popular and subsequently, other makers began creating reproductions. We believe this set is a reproduction from the same time period. We love the patinated look but they could also be polished-up, if desired.
