Vintage Toy Horse- Wood & Mother of Pearl
Let’s just say, they don’t make toys like this anymore. The horse has a hand-carved wood body, on wooden wheels, with engraved gold-metal detail on the wheels, harness, and saddle. The saddle is comprised of patterned pieces of mother-of-pearl, and this detail extends down the backside of the horse. This is a work of art- any lover of horses would be blown away by this piece (gift idea!). The wheels are a bit uneven and so the horse sits a bit “wobbly.”
