Antique porcelain matchbook holder/ashtray with striker on base. Beautiful handpainted detail and signed by the artist on the base: “M.E. Wilson.” The tray would serve as an ashtray or surface for discarding used matches. The base is rough and unglazed, designed to strike a match (works well + requires “strike anywhere” matches). Excellent condition.
