Antique Silk Robe Fragment, Framed + Authenticated (China, c. 1900)
Blue silk with hand-embroidered chrysanthemums and orchids. Originally from the trimming of a woman’s robe, attributed to early 20th c. China, and specifically the Ching Dynasty (1644-1911). Purchased in 2010, from Teresa Coleman Fine Arts of Hong Kong, the certificate of authenticity is in-tact and adhered to verso. Professionally framed + matted under museum (non-reflective + protective) glass. Silver metal frame.
