Set of two handcarved bookends, in the likeness of a bound book & elephant with its trunk raised. Carved from a single piece of wood. So detailed and the wood grain is soft and beautiful. It looks like the elephants may have had “tusks” at one point, as there are two small empty holes under each trunk. Signed on base: “AM” & “JJ.”
