Vintage Bust of Woman with Medici Collar, Attributed to Arnoldo Giannelli
Elegant bust of a woman with a medici style collar and hair up in an elaborate bun. This is attributed to Arnoldo Giannelli (1960’s) but is not signed. These factory-manufactured busts were typically made of recomposed stone, usually a mix of alabaster, marble powder, and resin. Beautiful raised detail on the jacket and her hair. There is repair, as pictured, around the full length of her neck and damage on the left-side ear. This is reflected in price. A beautiful piece!
