Handpainted Covered Dish with Brass Stand (1950's)
Baroque-style handpainted porcelain candy or small serving dish with lid and ornate brass stand. Painted on the lid are two identical scenes of celestial-looking humans (or goddesses?) in flowing robes. Inside the dish is a handpainted design in metallic gold. Manufactured by M & R in the USA in the 1950’s. Excellent condition.
Dimensions [6” high with stand; dish itself is 6.5” in diameter x 2.75” deep]
