Fortune Telling Teacup + Saucer by Jon Anton (1970's)
Iconic cup and saucer set with “fortune telling” properties, made my Jon Anton in the 1970’s. The saucer features the 12 zodiac signs. The interior of the cup contains other symbols required to read to leaves. Along the exterior of the teacup reads: “Perchance this Cup will Show it Thee. Would'st Thy Fortune Like To See?” Excellent condition. Signed on base: Jon Anton, Fine Bone China, Made in England.
Dimensions [cup is 2.25” high x 3” in diameter x 4” across from handle to opposite rim; saucer is 5.75” in diameter x 2” deep]
