Beautiful handpainted slop bucket, complete with insert + articulating wicker-wrapped handle. Made by Minton England and attributed to the late 19th century. Handpainted blue hydrangeas. This two-piece set is in remarkable condition given its age. Lots of crackle + some staining, but structurally sound. Handle is in excellent condition, articulates, and can hold the weight of the bucket with confidence. Originally part of a multi-piece chamber/personal care set.
This would make an exceptional compost bucket + certainly the prettiest one around today! The insert has a hole, where food scraps could be deposited (+ would help to ameliorate odors until deposit).
