1 Lb. Avery Brass Butcher's Counter Weights (2)

These are likely from the early 1900’s and were typically used by grocers and butchers as counter weights. The weight with the teeth/scallop cut-outs is signed “Avery.” Both weights are engraved with “1 Ib” in the top. These are in good condition with patina and wear consistent with their age. These are striking on their own but could also work well as bookends or paperweights. Price includes the pair.
