"Little Metamorphoses" Victorian Card Game
“Petits Metamorphoses” card game in original box. Popular with children during the Victorian-era, this is a reproduction (likely from the 1970’s). The previous owner shared that it was purchased in France. Essentially, there are top/head, torso, and bottom cards that are designed to be mixed-and-matched. An amazing find as-is, the art project possibilities are also endless here! Imagine some of these “sets” framed. A super rare find. Good vintage condition to the box and cards overall. Several of the “bottom” cards are missing (there are 5 vs. roughly 18-20 head and torso cards).
