Large Handpainted Paper Mâché Tray (Japan, 1940's)

Stunningly beautiful paper mâché tray with handpainted floral detail. Signed on base: Japan. Attributed to the 1940’s. Expected wear to paint, given its age, but we love the look. This would be beautiful on a bureau, coffee table, or home bar. Create a unique centerpiece- brass and glass both pop on this piece.
