Antique Studio Scale with Cabinet by Eastman Kodak (1910's)

$135.00
Sold

Early 20th c. metal scale with weights, manufactured by Eastman Kodak. Designed for photography studios + darkrooms for chemical mixing. Plenty of patina + signs of use, but appearing to be complete + in working condition. We’re unable to find a comparable with the wood + glass case (the brass hardware is amazing) leading us to think that it may be custom. Scale is signed “Eastman Studio Scale, Eastman Kodak Co., Rochester, NY.” Weights range from 50 grams to 2 ounces. A historical art piece in itself, this is also a one-of-a-kind gift for the amateur or professional photographer.

Dimensions [box is 10.5” long x 5.5” wide x 5.75” high; wooden scale base is 8.75” long x 4” wide]
