Vintage Greek God Tanagra Statue
Vintage statuette of Greek goddess, Tanagra, made in Italy. Beautiful silhouette- the folds in the fabric are incredible! We attribute this to similar pieces of the time (midcentury) which were made of ecomposed stone, usually a mix of alabaster, marble powder, and resin. As such, there is a graininess to the feel. Excellent condition. Signature/sticker on base, “made in Italy” in in tact.
