Vintage Folding Pool Table (1950's)
Vintage folding/collapsible pool table, complete with billiard & cue balls, triangle, and two cue sticks. Wood frame with decorative painted accents. Folding legs and interior track are metal. Manufactured by The Burrowes Co. of Portland, Maine (operating from 1873-1965). Original label in-tact (as shown) on underside. Sturdy and tested.
We are attributing this to the 1950-60’s. The last photo shows an advertisement for an earlier version from the Saturday Evening Post in 1910. One cue stick is missing the rubber cap on the tip. Plenty of wear and patina. Staining, as shown, on the felt playing area from use. This is an incredibly rare find and a cool piece of Portland history. It is fully functional and ready to play (and show off). Truly a one-of-a-kind piece!
Do to size/weight, this item is available for local pick-up and delivery only.
Dimensions [27” tall x 44.5” long x 25” across; cue sticks are 34” long; billiard balls are approx. 4” in circumference]
