Victorian-era ceramic poodle with “confetti” texture. We believe this to be Staffordshire, however it has not been authenticated. Handpainted and in overall excellent condition, with signature Staffordshire “hallmark” of hole on base. These were popular in the late 19th c. and would often be displayed on mantles, in windows, and given as “funny” gifts. Iconic.
