Handpainted vintage double-handled vessel, made in Italy (signed on verso). Art Deco-style, geometric design with sweet heart-form detail on handles. This piece is interesting because it appears to have had a drainage system originally. There is a metal plug under the felt and a second hole close to the base, as shown. The felt has been pulled back, as shown. Attributed to the 1920-30’s, however exact provenance is unknown.
