Standard Crayon Manufacturing Company Original Box (1930's, Massachusetts)
This box would have held white chalk “crayons” manufactured by Standard Crayon Manufacturing Company, out of Danvers, Massachusetts in the 1930’s. The box is in good vintage condition, with the original paper label largely in-tact. The label reads: standard white chalk crayons, one gross, along with the company and location. On the bottom, in pencil, is handwritten: “Croft Lab, 1944.” This would look very cool atop a shelf or for storing post-card size paper goods (as pictured for scale). Fun fact: Standard was later bought by Crayola in 1944.
Dimensions [3.75” tall x 4.5” across x 6.75” long]
