Antique Prattware Jar with Currier's "Lobster Sauce" Lithograph (England, 19th Century)
Attributed to Prattware (England, 1780-1840), this ironstone lidded jar features “Lobster Sauce,” originally lithographed by Nathaniel Currier (1813-1888). This may have been used for storing potted meats or other perishable delicacies of the period. Overall great condition with some chipping on the interior, as shown. A rare find.
