Book: “A Pronouncing Pocket-manual of Musical Terms: together with The Elements of Notation and condensed biographies of noteworthy musicians.” Published in 1905 (117 years ago!), this book belonged to Rose B. Hoskins of Chicago, IL. Not only is her name inscribed on the inside cover, an account statement from Gamble Hinged Music Co., also of Chicago, IL, was found tucked inside! It’s stamped March 31, 1916. We just love personal artifacts like this. Sigh.
Master Key Chromatic Pitch Instrument: This is from the 1940’s and Made by WM. Kratt Company of Union , NJ. Original box is included and is in good vintage condition for its age. The pitch key works and is very good vintage condition. Instructions for use included on the inside of the box. It belonged to someone named “Caroline,” who signed their name on the back of the box.
