"Cave Canem" (Beware the Dog) Mosaic Hanging Plaque
Someone brought this special piece back from Rome. Very cool mosaic design with a ‘“ferocious” looking dog and “Cave Canem (which means “beware the dog” in Latin. Signed on the back with “Roma” and MMI (2001). Metal hook on the back means it’s ready to mount. There is some expected wear, including a break in the bottom right corner, as pictured.
