Vintage Folk Art Pottery Virgin de Guadalupe Holy Water Decanter (Mexico)
Beautifully hand crafted + painted pottery decanter with applied handle. Attributed to Tlaquepaque, Mexico in the early to mid 20th c. Designed to hold holy water, and often sold to travelers visiting religious/devotional sites in the area. Signed on base, “Made in Mexico.” Good overall condition, commensurate with age, with in-tact stopper. A rare find and beautiful art piece.
