Vintage Dancing Clown Music Box by Koji Murai
Vintage music box, designed by artist and photographer, Koji Murai. Murai designed this series of music boxes based on his friendship with Marcel Marceau. These were manufactured in the 1970/80’s. Excellent working condition: wind up in the back, then pull open the drawer and “Send in the Clowns” will start playing. Shut the drawer and it stops. Constructed of heavy-duty cardboard, there the left panel has started to come apart and there is wear from use, as shown.
