Paris Street Scene by Paul Renard (France, 1941-1997
Beautiful, likely midcentury, gouache (we believe) on stretched canvas, depicting a bustling Parisian street scene. Attributed to Paul Renard (France, 1941-1997) and signed by the artist. Renard’s works have sold successfully at auction. This piece was once framed and the nails once attached to the frame are still present on the top and bottom of the canvas, as shown. A small tear in the mid/upper right, as shown, that is visible only if looking very closely. Beautiful!
