Small Vintage Articulating Magnifying Glass on Stand (1940's)
Often referred to as a “bullseye” or “scientific” magnifying glass, this piece is so sweet. Lacquered brass body, which articulates up and down, with ease. The glass piece is on a ball joint and can tilt and rotate, as needed. There is damage along rim of the glass piece and some loss to adjacent gold lacquer, as shown, however it is working and ready to use. In the meantime, it will look amazing on a desk or bookshelf. Attributed to the 1940’s.
Dimensions [5” high when stand is fully extended; stand is 1.75” diameter at base; glass is 1.75” diameter]
