Vintage Handwoven Melon (Egg) Basket
This vintage (possibly antique) melon basket was traditionally used for foraging eggs, flowers, or produce from a home garden. It is in great vintage condition but also shows signs that it was well-used and loved (check out the wear on the handle from use). There are a couple of small breaks in the weaving on the interior and one side, as pictured. Take this gem to the farmer’s market or use it for decor- you can’t go wrong.
