Antique Silver Teapot with Wood Handle (1904)
Silver tea or coffee pot/pitcher with wood handle and stone (?) detail on the lid. Gorgeous, with heavy patina. A date, “1904,” is handcarved onto the base along with some other writing that we can’t quite make out. This would polish up beautifully, or keep as is for more of that “French Country” look.
Dimensions [8” high x 8.5” across from handle to spout; base is 4” in diameter]
Styling suggestions: this looks gorgeous as a vessel for live or dried flowers. We would also use it to store/display antique silver/flatware, as shown. You could also style it with artist’s paint brushes of varying lengths, feathers, or other foraged objects from nature.
