One of a series of commemorative plates manufactured by Saint Amand in the 1960’s, featuring old Normandie cheese advertisements. This one features the famous Dupont d'Isigny dairy company in Camembert, France. Illustrations of cows grazing in a meadow, the dairy name, location, and “Fabrique en Normandie” on the face. On the reverse is the Saint Amand maker’s mark and “Fromages of France.” Great vintage condition, with one shallow chip area, as pictured, and some slight crazing.
